VHONG Navarro expressed his happiness on the engagement of his "It's Showtime" co-hosts Billy Crawford and Anne Curtis.
The comedian/dancer said he knows Curtis dreamt of that moment and Crawford was just waiting for the right time to pop the question.
"Matagal din nilang hinintay yun. At yun ang isang pangarap ng isang babae. Yung maiharap sila sa simbahan at pangarap talaga ng mga kababaihan," he said.
During the weekend, Curtis announced her engagement to long-term boyfriend, restaurateur and food blogger Erwan Heussaff.
Heussaff proposed to the television actress during their November side trip to Connecticut.
Crawford, on his part, went down on one knee last Monday at a restaurant in Quezon City.
His girlfriend of almost three years, actress Coleen Garcia, said yes to the proposal.
Navarro said he knows the pressure both Heussaff and Crawford went through because it is an important moment in every relationship.
"Isang malaking responsibility ito kina Erwan at Billy kasi sila yung lalaki. Siyempre, kami ang mga lalaki, kami ang gagawa ng paraan na kung ano bang magandang proposal ang puwedeng gawin."
Asked if a third proposal–his proposal–can be expected any time soon, the comedian hinted that he's also thinking of a nice way to propose.
"Kailangan na rin nating mag isip-isip kung ano ba ang istilo nating gagawin."
Navarro added that if he's ready to settle down, it is definitely with long-term non-showbiz girlfriend Tanya Bautista.
"Kung sino ang pakakasalan ko ngayon, siya ang huli. At wala na akong ibang gusto kundi yung girlfriend ko."
Meanwhile, the Kapamilya actor will top bill upcoming comedy movie "Mang Kepweng Returns" with leading lady Kim Domingo.
Directed by Guiseppe Sampedro and produced by Cineko Productions and Viva Films, the movie tells the story of Mang Kepweng, a quack doctor originally portrayed by the late comedian Chiquito in 1979.
Joining Navarro in the movie are Lotlot and Matet de Leon, Jhong Hilario, Sunshine Cruz, James Blanco and Jaclyn Jose.
"Mang Kepweng Returns" premiers January 4 in cinemas nationwide. (Sunnex)
