A 20-YEAR-OLD son of a village official landed in the hospital after he was shot by a suspected drug pusher in Barangay Catolohan, Dalaguete, Cebu, around 6 p.m. Thursday, November 2.
Police identified the victim as Jason Quevedo Gañolon, who suffered gunshot wounds in the face. He was brought to a hospital in Cebu City.
The suspect, Jonard Gutib, was caught around 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 3.
Gutib, who has a pending murder case, yielded a .38 revolver loaded with three bullets.
The suspect vented his ire on Gañolon after he was scolded by the latter's father, Lucracio, barangay councilor of Catolohan, for his involvement in the illegal drug trade. (KAL/VoxPop Cebu)
