Vintage bomb found in City of San Fernando

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- A vintage bomb, suspectedly made during World War II, was found in a village in this city on Wednesday, December 7.

The vintage bomb was kept in a bag left in Saguin village and was obtained through a report from concerned residents, authorities said.

An investigating team from Police Regional Office-Central Luzon said that the bomb could still explode if not properly handled.

The said vintage bomb is now in custody of the Police Regional Office-Central Luzon and is set for safe detonation to avoid causing a threat to the public.

Citizens are advised to be vigilant and remain calm if they notice the same incident and immediately report to authorities for proper investigation and disposal.
