CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) in Central Luzon recently held a public hearing in The City of San Fernando, Pampanga to gather views and inputs on the minimum wage issue for domestic workers in the region.
Department of Labor and Employment Central Luzon Director and RTWPB-Central Luzon Chairperson Ana Dione told the participants that they are mandated under RA 10361 (Kasambahay Law) to review and adjust the minimum wage rate for domestic workers in the region.
The current minimum wage for domestic workers in Central Luzon is P2,000 per month for those employed in cities and first class municipalities, and P1,500 for those employed in other municipalities. (PR)
