CEBUANOS braved the heat of the sun on Thursday, October 26, as the body of the late Cebu Archbishop Emeritus Ricardo Cardinal Vidal was laid to rest at the mausoleum of the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral.
The funeral procession started past 10 a.m. after the requiem mass celebrated by Cebu Archbishop Jose Palma with the three Filipino living cardinals: Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle, Archbishop of Manila; Orlando Cardinal Quevedo, Archbishop of Cotabato; and Gaudencio Cardinal Rosales, Archbishop Emeritus-Manila.
At the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral mausoleum where the cardinal's body is being laid to rest at past 11:30 a.m.
