IN LINE with the centennial celebration of the Southeastern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC), 16 hospital personnel are set to compete for the grandest Mr. and Ms. SPMC on 6 p.m., Tuesday, August 8, at Abreeza Mall Activity Center.
Eight men and women working in SPMC are ready to take on the stage as various awards aside from the Mr. and Ms. SPMC will be given - the Mr. and Ms. Physique, Mr. and Ms. Skin Glow, and Best in Filipiniana award.
The pre-pageant of the competition took place last July 21 at SPMC gym. From 32 female and male applicants, only 16 were chosen to compete for the finals tonight.
Vying for the Mr. SPMC crown are doctor Marc Lester Ibanez, billing clerk Kirk Patrick Basinilio, doctor Bryan Marcial Berguia, nurse Michael Antonio Barredo, doctor Noe Abrahan Paez, nutrition services staff Jonriel Dioneda, doctor Jallil Ken Dayo, and nurse Raznim Zean Occubillo.
Also, the competing top eight for Ms. SPMC are nurse Doris Althea Manacap, nutritionist Apple Micah Ampit, medical technologist Sandia Angela Reboquio, nurse Lyonesse Gail Gelua, doctor Angelica Mary Labradores, nurse Vanessa Ruth Chan, doctor Kassey Dandan, and doctor Ivabelle Ducto.
In tonight's finals, five men and women will be chosen as the top five contestants and will have to answer one common question. Contestants who have not yet answered will have to wear a headset for them not the hear the question.
After the top five's question and answer portion, judges will then pick the top three who will compete closely for the crown.
Outgoing Mr. SPMC Doctor Ryan Bon Fransisco and Ms. SPMC doctor Fransesca Nunez will be crowning this year's winners.
Cash prizes will be given to all top three winners.
