THE court verified on Tuesday, November 23, the testimony of eyewitness in the Richard King murder during an ocular inspection at the crime scene in Davao City.
Boboy Roldan, who testified that he was a Vital-C nurse and food preparation-in-charge during the incident, identified the scene where his boss King was killed last June 12, 2014.
At the murder site located at Vital-C office along Sobrecarey Street in Bo. Obrero, Roldan was once again asked by the prosecutors the part of the coffee room where he saw the alleged assailant who he earlier identified as Paul Dave Labang.
A sketch was made from the description of Roldan and it was adopted by both parties.
Present during the ocular inspection were lawyer Deolito Alvarez, co-counsel for Police Superintendent Leonardo Felonia, lawyer Gregorio Andolana, and Regional Trial Court Judge Emmanuel Carpio.
Carpio also asked questions and clarifications from the suspect during the ocular.
The counsel of self-confessed gunman Paul Dave Labang, and brothers Romel and Rodel dela Cerna was absent at the ocular inspection.
In the previous report, Labang confessed that Police Superintendent Leonardo Felonia, then chief of the Davao Police Regional Intelligence Unit, ordered him to kill King.
Aside from Felonia and Labang, also facing the murder charges are brothers Rommel and Rodel Dela Cerna.
Another hearing of the case is set on December 12.
