THE Kings Sword Martial Arts and American Bushido Karate Association (ABKA), in partnership with NCCC Mall Davao, will hold a free Wushu Sanda and Bushido Karate clinic on September 23 at the NCCC Mall Activity Center.

King's Sword Martial Arts chief Nell Jone Astudillo, who guested at the Davao Sportswriters Association Forum at the NCCC Mall Food Cove Hall, said the one-day clinic will teach the rules and regulations and basic techniques of the sports.

Wushu Sanda clinic is set in the morning while Bushido karate is slated in the afternoon.

Astudillo also said that they will hold the 1st NCCC Mall and 2nd Mindanao Invitational Wushu Sanda Championships on November 4.

He added that the event will serve as a qualifying and a selection for the upcoming Philippine National Games (PNG) 2017.

Being a legitimate member of the Wushu Federation of the Philippines (WFP), Astudillo's thrust is to promote the sport around Mindanao.

"I am inspired to continue promoting the sport because I am able to attest that WFP has a good program," Astudillo said.

Astudillo also holds a free Wushu Sanda clinic every Thursday at the Kadayawan Hall of NCCC Mall Davao.
