CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga -- A body of a four-year-old girl was found along the Pampanga River portion in Barangay Batang II, Sasmuan, Pampanga, on Wednesday, September 20.
Senior Superintendent Joel Consulta, Pampanga police provincial director, said the body of Jewel Laxa, a resident of Barangay Batang II, was discovered by a concerned citizen floating in the river.
The victim was last seen around 4 p.m. Tuesday, September 26, while playing along the riverside of the said barangay, Consulta said.
After several hours, the victim had not yet come home, so her parents started to look for her until the following morning when she was found floating along the Pampanga River, said Consulta. (Ric Sapnu)
