MAYOR Maria Isabelle Climaco-Salazar spearheaded the turnover of two infrastructure projects worth P2.8 million in line with her priority thrust on security, health and education on Wednesday, January 25.
The two projects consisted of the P2.194 million village hall in Zone III and the P698,101.74 day care center in the village of Tetuan.
Zone III Village Chairperson Jerry Sanson formally accepted the village hall project from Salazar, saying it will help improve delivery of service to the constituents in the community.
Sanson vowed to take good care of the facility and to maximize its use for the benefit of the residents.
From Zone III, Salazar proceeded to Ortega drive in the village of Tetuan for the turnover of the day care center.
Tetuan Village Chairperson John Dalipe and day care administrators and teachers accepted the facility during the turnover rites that was also graced by other city officials.
Dalipe thanked the Zamboanga City Government for the facility, stressing that it will help provide comfort and convenience to the center clients.
Councilor Elbert Atilano, City Engineer Luis Despalo and other city officials joined Salazar in the turnover of the two projects. (Bong Garcia/VoxPop Philippines)
