HUNDREDS of job vacancies are up for grabs in the 2016 Hermosa Festival’s jobs fair in Zamboanga City.
City Social Welfare and Development Officer Socorro Rojas said the jobs fair will be conducted Friday, October 7, at the Red Cross Training Center in Pettit Barracks, Zamboanga City.
Rojas, who also heads the Public Employment Service Office (Peso), said 20 local and 10 overseas placement agencies are expected to join the fair.
Fresh graduates, skilled workers or National Centificate-2 graduates can apply for the different positions that will be offered during the Jobs Fair, Rojas said.
The event is part of the City Government’s employment program aimed to help the residents uplift their living standards.
The Job Fair is in coordination with the Department of Labor and Employment, Technical Educations and Skills Development Authority, Philippine Overseas Employment Agency and other concerned agencies of government. (Bong Garcia/Sunnex)
