THE Zamboanga City Water District (ZCWD) announced that the water supply is slowly back to normal with the “energization” of the Suterville-San Jose Gusu injection point.
ZCWD spokesman Edgar Baños said they are currently on the fine tuning phase and have just completed downloading fresh water down to Suterville-San Jose Gusu.
“We are midway or more than half of our journey to the downtown area in bringing new water into the system,” Baños said.
However, he was asked the indulgence of the ZCWD concessionaires citing they need a little more time to fully complete the “energization” process.
“In the fine tuning of valves, you have a situation where there are areas on the opposing sides of the roads would have water but the other side would not have water as a result of the interconnection of pipes,” he explained. (Bong Garcia/VoxPop Philippines)
