University of the Assumption Accountancy studes win quiz bowl, fun run
The University of the Assumption emerged as Overall Champion in the Provincial Competitive Accounting Quiz Bowl recently held at the DBM Conference Hall, SACOP, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
The competition which was participated by 10 tertiary schools in Pampanga had two levels.
Nairra C. Amurao, fifth year BS Accountancy student, ranked first in Level 2 while Aldrin M. Salonga, 4th year BS Accountancy student, was second placer in
Level 1.
Nairra and Aldrin will represent the province of Pampanga in the regional accounting quiz.
Meanwhile, another Accountancy student, Ken Hensley Sembrano finished ahead of all the participants in the PICPA Pampanga Fun Run.
The provincial accounting quiz bowl and fun run were hosted by the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants Pampanga chapter in celebration of Accountancy Week.
