66 Magalang folks get DOLE livelihood kits

SCORES of residents in the first-class agricultural town of Magalang in Pampanga received livelihood kits from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

Magalang Mayor Romulo Pecson led the distribution of livelihood kits to the 66 Magaleños on November 5, 2021, at the Magalang Public Employment and Service Office.

The local government unit aims to improve the socio-economic status of every Magaleno by generating more jobs and business opportunities

The LGU implemented the project in partnership with the DOLE through its program, DOLE Integrated Livelihood and Emergency Employment Program or Dileep.

Pecson expressed gratitude to the labor department for the livelihood program.

During the event, Pecson was assisted by Vice Mayoral aspirant and incumbent Councilor Koko Gonzales, Councilor Tisoy Zemel, Councilor Eller Pecson, Board Member aspirant and Incumbent Councilor Joel Cruz, JD Cruz, Arvy Bondoc Dela Cruz, Vanessa San Miguel Calma, Engineer Roger Santos, Dong Pangan, and Allan Poe Pineda.
