A 75-YEAR-OLD man from Barangay Santa Cruz, Magalang town has died from coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
The patient was the 78th resident who succumbed to the disease.
Aside from him, the local government recorded two new Covid-19 fatalities on September 6, 2021.
A total of 80 residents in Magalang had died because of the disease.
The Municipal Health Office (MHO) also reported 14 new cases of Covid-19.
The new patients include a three-year-old girl from Barangay San Pedro 2 and an 81-year-old woman from Barangay Santa Cruz.
The MHO also recorded 13 recovered patients on September 6.
Of the 1,292 total patients, some 1,087 had recovered from the virus, the local government said.
