AETA communities in Porac and in neighboring Floridblanca town got an early Christmas treat, as Pampanga Governor Dennis Pineda and Vice Governor Lilia Pineda distributed 4,552 food packs to different Aeta communities for the Yuletide holidays.
Each of the recipients took home chicken, hotdogs and a box of relief goods.
The distribution was led by Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer Angelina Blanco and personnel from the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, General Services Office and Provincial Manpower and Training.
Barangay officials in respective towns made sure that minimum health protocols were observed during the distribution of goods to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Around 1,338 food packs were distributed in Floridablanca, while 3,214 were given to Aeta residents of Porac town.
