OFFICIALS of Barangay Balibago in Angeles City, Pampanga have scheduled a road clearing operation on Monday, November 16, 2020.
Rodelio "Tony" Mamac Sr., chairman of the said village, said he had set the demolition of obstruction in line with the directive of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).
"Muli na naman po naming ipagpapatuloy ang road clearing operations sa buong lansangan ng ating barangay ayon sa kautusuan ng DILG," the village chief added.
Mamac said he directed all purok leaders to coordinate the scheduled clearing operation with residents, especially those occupying or encroaching barangay roads.
"Mag-uumpisa po kaming mag-alis ng mga obstructions sa darating na Lunes, November 16," the barangay chairman said.
Aside from illegal encroachments, barangay leaders will also remove illegally parked vehicles, according to Mamac.
The barangay official also appealed to residents who allow their pets on the streets.
"Pinapaalalahanan din po namin ang mga may alagang aso na itali ang mga ito at huwag pabayaang magdumi sa ating mga daanan," Mamac said.
