SANTA RITA — Second District board members Fritzie David-Dizon, Mylyn Pineda-Cayabyab, and Anthony Torres led the distribution of hundreds of rice subsidies to towns as part of their assistance to residents affected by ongoing quarantine measures.
David-Dizon said the towns of Floridablanca, Guagua, Lubao, Porac, Sta. Rita, and Sasmuan have received rice in 50 kilo sacks. The quantity of distributions varied on the total number of households per barangay according to David-Dizon.
In Santa Rita town, the dispersal of rice was held at San Vicente Chapel where they donated 150 bags of rice to the 10 barangays. Porac town also received 500 bags of rice for 29 barangays. The board members also donated 300 bags of rice to the 44 barangays in Lubao.
David-Dizon said that, in Guagua, the dispersal of rice was held at Guagua Municipal Hall where they donated 300 bags of rice to the 31 barangays. Some 300 sacks of rice were also given to Floridablanca town.
