THE Provincial Government of Pampanga is currently prepping up is first provincial isolation facility in Mexico town as it further boosts its coronavirus response for isolation and quarantine requirements.
This, as Governor Dennis Pineda had tasked Provincial Administrator Charlie Chua in a recent on-site inspection of the said facility to ensure that the structure adheres to current quarantine standards for handling quarantine cases.
Chua led the inspection of the 194-bed capacity isolation facility to further ensure that the facility will be able to safely and comfortably accommodate patients.
Covid-19 Isolation Facilities incident commander Dr. Dax Tidula said the isolation facility boasts of four building facilities, as well as retrofitted container vans from the Department of Public Works and Highways that have been converted to quarantine rooms.
The Provincial Government's General Services Office, Provincial Manpower and Training Center, and Provincial Engineering Office fitted the rooms with partitions and air-conditioning units to better ready the quarters for patient accommodation.
Chua was joined by Provincial Engineer Olimpio Pangan, General Services Office head Francis Maslog, and Management Information System head Mary Lou Espaltero during the inspection.
