MABALACAT CITY -- Officials of Clark Development Corporation (CDC) has projected that the income of Clark Freeport will reach P2 billion this 2020.
CDC president Noel F. Manankil said the income growth of Clark for three straight years has recorded to about 30 percent per annum.
"We hope to close the year with P1.7 to P1.8 billion compared to last year of P1.4 billion. Next year, the way the figures are coming we'll definitely hit P2- billion," Manankil said.
The CDC chief said 2019 is a banner year for CDC in terms of investments with almost 1,200 locators.
"I think we will close the year (2019) with 137,000 employees. The actual investment is close to P160-trillion," Manankil added.
For his part, CDC board chairman Jose "Ping" De Jesus said that Clark has performed very well in terms of projects and finance under Manankil's leadership.
"Clark is 25 years old, we reached 25 last April and the last three years of Noel's incumbency in Clark performed and earned as much as the previous 22 years," De Jesus said.
De Jesus lauded the CDC staff and the corporation's mother agency, the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), for their support.
"Ganyan kagaling ang ating top official sa Clark and of course to the staff and the ever ready support from our mother agency, our parent company the BCDA headed by our very energetic president and CEO, si Vince Dizon," De Jesus added.
