THE total number of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in Central Luzon has reached 32,644, according to the March 22 bulletin of the Department of Health (DOH) in the region.
Of this number, 76.8 percent or 25,071 have since recovered, while 19.9 percent or 6,494 cases are active.
Of the active cases, 18 are in critical condition and 89 are severe. The rest of the active cases showed mild to moderate symptoms, while 47.26 percent or 3,069 are asymptomatic.
The total number of deaths in the region is currently at 1,079 cases, representing 3.3 percent of all recorded cases.
The DOH said Bulacan still has the most number of recorded cases at 13,034, followed by Pampanga with 8,000 cases and Bataan with 3,893.
Hospital facilities in the region are still in the low-risk level of being fully occupied by Covid-19 patients and those undergoing isolation.
