THE Department of Agriculture (DA) in Central Luzon hosted a slogan-making contest as one of the activities of the department in conjunction with the celebration of Farmers and Fisherfolk's Month under Presidential Proclamation No. 33 on May 21, 1989.
The purpose of the activity is to give praise and recognition to hardworking farmers and fishermen of the region using art.
The activity was led by the Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division with the participation of six creative participants from various offices of the Department.
The activity included a pre-judging of the creations. Three works garnered the highest scores based on the pre-judging conducted and will be posted on the DA-Central Luzon Facebook page.
The most "reactions" will be recognized as the Champion of the said contest.
