SAN LUIS -- Dan Way Processing Corporation under the leadership of its chairman and former Candaba mayor Danilo "Boy" Baylon has vowed to provide chickens, eggs and rice to affected families in all the towns and cities in Pampanga.
Engineer Baylon, in an interview with VoxPop Pampanga, said poor families, frontliners, including people in resettlement sites and Aeta tribal communities will be prioritized.
On Wednesday, May 6, Baylon together with Fourth District Board Member Nelson Calara, former Vice-Mayor Junior Salas donated 12,000 chickens to four Barangays namely San Roque, Sto. Niño, San Jose and San Isidro, all in San Luis.
He and wife Apo Aniway Baylon, president of Dan Way Corporation, gave food donations numbering in the thousands in San Fernando, Candaba, Porac, Bacolor, Masantol, San Simon and Sto. Tomas.
In its 15 years of sharing, Dan Way Corporation has donated millions of its products in areas of Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao and all over the country.
"Bilang isang mamamayan na nakakaangat sa buhay, ay talagang obligasyon natin ang magpamigay tayo sa buong bayan ng kanilang makakain," Baylon said.
Baylon added that he will continue his mission of service to the poor because this is the will of God to help those in need.
"Hanggang mayroon akong kabuhayan, hanggang may natitira pa sa amin at hangga't mayroong nagugutom, gagawin natin ito," Baylon said.
Meanwhile Calara and Salas, who facilitated the donation, both thanked Baylon for his generosity and selfless act to provide food to the less fortunate members of society who were affected by the enhanced community quarantine. (Chris Navarro)
