CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Director Amelita Ortiz was welcomed by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR)-Central Luzon as the new assistant regional director for management service.
Ortiz was designated under Special Order 2019-970 issued by Environment Secretary Roy A. Cimatu.
Ortiz replaced Director Tirso Parian Jr., who was promoted as the new regional executive director of DENR Western Visayas, after serving Central Luzon for seven years.
Ortiz is a forester and previously worked as staff director of the assistant secretary for human resource development and legislative affairs.
She also served as assistant regional director for management services of DENR-National Capital Region in 2016.
