THREE of the children of Third District Representative Aurelio Gonzales Jr. led the inauguration of the P2.4-million senior citizen center inside Ramar Village in a bid to provide a venue for the conduct of programs and services for senior citizen.
The congressman's chief-of-staff and daughter Alyssa Michaela Gonzales was joined by Engr. Aurelio Brenz Gonzales and Aurelio Gonzales III during the inauguration of the single-story building.
The building features a conference hall and office and would be used by the local senior citizen's group.
The three were later joined by the elder Gonzales who met with the senior citizens of the area.
Gonzales highlighted the ongoing programs and projects of his office in the district to help all sectors amid the ongoing pandemic.
Gonzales said his children are helping out in the coordination of his programs to various sectors.
"We are looking at more infrastructure projects to capacitate the programs of various sectors in our city. The senior citizens sector in our city are not far from our agenda of bringing more programs and projects in the coming months," Gonzales said.
Gonzales's daughter Alyssa Michaela thanked the senior citizens who attended the event and for observing health protocols.
She said a whole generation of Fernandinos are grateful for their contribution to society and that the new building facility is in recognition of the fact that they can contribute more to society.
