A RAY of hope is sparking in Macabebe, Pampanga as two of its three coronavirus disease (Covid-19) patients have already recovered.
According to the town's Interagency Task Force, the first (MC#1) and third (MC#3) patients have tested negative for the Sars-CoV-2, which causes the coronavirus disease (Covid-19), based on the results of swab testing conducted on them by the Department of Health.
MC#1 was first admitted in the hospital on March 9 and was declared as a recovered patient and discharged from the hospital for home quarantine about two weeks after.
Meanwhile, MC#3, a 70-year-old female was the town's first case of community transmission after she was exposed to MC#1. She was declared a recovered patient on Monday, April 27.
At present, Macabebe has no active cases of Covid-19 as its second patient (MC#2) already lost his battle to the disease.
However, the town still has 214 probable persons and 11 suspects as of Tuesday morning.
