THE local government of Magalang logged on Monday, July 5, the town's lowest daily number of active coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases.

Magalang Mayor Romy Pecson relayed the good news to his constituents as he urged them to continue observing health protocols set by the Department of Health (DOH) to prevent the spread of the virus.

The local chief executive also thanked the town's frontliners for their sacrifices to help the residents who contract the virus.

He also lauded the residents who availed themselves of the government's inoculation program.
