NEWLY designated Pampanga Provincial Police Office (PPPO) Director Police Colonel Andres Simbajon, Jr. vowed to initiate reforms and continue best practices under the Philippine National Police (PNP) Patrol Plan 2030 implemented by outgoing director Police Colonel Jean Fajardo.
Simbajon was installed as PPPO director during simple turnover rites held at the PPP headquarters in the City of San Fernando on Wednesday, September 30.
Simbajon is a protegee of PNP Chief Camilo Prancacius "Pikoy" Pascua Cascolan. He was formerly the chief of the PNP Plans and Programs before he was handpicked by the PNP chief to lead the Pampanga police force.
Fajardo will take on a new assignment in higher police headquarters.
"A change in environment is a booster to my career," she said.
Fajardo was designated as the chief of the PNP Training Program Development Division stationed at Camp Crame, Quezon City. Her new assignment was approved by the Police Major General Amador Corpus, head of the Directorate for Human Resource and Doctrine Development.
Simbajon and Fajardo are both members of the Philippine National Police Academy class of 1996.
