THE Nueva Ecija Interagency Task Force or NE-IATF has recorded the first death from Covid-19 in the province.
Acording to the NE-IATF, the patient is a 44-year-old nurse working at the Dr. Paulino J. Garcia Memorial Research and Medical Center (Dr. PJGMRMC) and a resident of General Mamerto Natividad.
The health worker was brought to the hospital on March 21 due to symptoms of Covid-19. On March 27, after swabbing and lab test, it was confirmed that the patient was positive.
On April 1 at around 1 a.m., the patient succumbed to Covid-19. (PR)
