A MIXED-USE property worth P6 billion is set to rise in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga by 2022.
A hotel and condominium will be built inside a 2.8-hectare land in Barangay Telabastagan owned by the Lazatin family.
Xin Long International Corp. and Sun Long Corp. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Rico Co, property owner, led the groundbreaking ceremonies on August 4.
He was assisted by Corporate President Richard Morales; Pampanga Governor Dennis Pineda; Angeles City Mayor Carmelo "Pogi" Lazatin Jr., and Double 8 Construction and Trading Chief Executive Officer Engineer Ernie Maruso.
Maruso said the first phase of the project includes the construction of Xing Long Hotel.
He added that the three-story hotel will house 300 bedrooms and is expected to be completed by August 2022.
The soon-to-rise hotel was designed by Architect Jerry Zheng of ZHZQ Architects.
According to Zheng, the building has "an astonishingly golden and modern structure mixed with Mediterranean style."
The second phase of the project will include the construction of seven condominiums.
During the groundbreaking ceremonies, Lazatin thanked Co for the investment.
Pineda also thanked Co for the investment that "will surely generate additional jobs for Kapampangans."
