MAGALANG -- The Pampanga 1 Electric Cooperative (Pelco 1) has scheduled two separate power interruptions in its service areas in this municipality and in nearby Mexico town on Friday.
Affected areas in this town include San Nicolas East, San Nicolas West, Santa Cruz, San Pablo, San Agustin, Ayala, San Vicente, Santo Nino, Turu Arayat, Turu Magalang, Balitucan, Escaler, Cabayung Sarul, San Pedro 1, San Pedro 2, and San Miguel.
The electric cooperative is set to remove a 10-MVA transformer at the San Nicolas area office during the power outage set at 5 a.m. to 10 a.m.
In Mexico town, areas that will be affected by the power interruption include Sapang Maisak, Pandacaqui, Azalea Homes, Amaia Scapes, Georgia Planes, Lapidssville, District 1 to 15, NHA Phaase 2A and 2B Mexico, NHA Telapayong Arayat, San Jose, San Francisco, Mabato-Bato, Camias, and San Pedro 2.
Pelco 1 workers have scheduled maintenance works at the Pandacaqui Substation during the power interruption, which will start at 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.
