AS PART of its humanitarian drive, the Police Regional Office (PRO)-Central Luzon has provided relief assistance to victims of flood in Cagayan region.
Three truckloads of relief goods containing more than 5,000 food packs were delivered by PRO-Central Luzon personnel to the calamity-hit region on Thursday.
PRO-Central Luzon Director Brigadier General Valeriano De Leon said the police force recognizes the crucial need for assistance of fellow Filipinos in the northern region.
"Our fellow Cagayanons greatly suffered from severe flooding brought about by the typhoon and this is the best time to extend our help and our provision of services to needy communities," he said.
He also said that every member of the society should join hands in helping the victims of flood get back on their toes as soon as possible.
"Let the Bayanihan spirit live among us especially in this time of crisis," Valeriano said.
