CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Associations of quarry operators from the towns of Porac, Floridablanca, Mabalacat, and Clark Freeport donated 300 oxygen tanks worth P2 million to the Provincial Government of Pampanga as part of its support to the province's coronavirus response.
Governor Dennis Pineda, on his official social media page, thanked the quarry associations for their continuing support to the province amid the ongoing pandemic.
Pineda said that the donated vital oxygen tanks will boost the province's support for the 10 district hospitals as well as the three major isolation facilities of the province and some hotels that host coronavirus-positive patients.
"Idadagdag po natin ang mga tanks sa ating provincial at 10 district hospitals kasama ang tatlong malalaking isolation facilities at ilang hotels kung saan nagpapagaling ang mga kabalen natin na may mild at moderate symptoms ng Covid-19," Pineda said.
(We will provide the tanks to our provincial and district hospitals, isolation hotels, and some hotels where some patients with mild and moderate symptoms who tested positive for Covid-19 are temporarily staying.)
Quarry associations operating in the province have been active in donating to the province's coronavirus response through recent medical donations. Quarry associations have also donated ambulances to the province's health care program.
