IN A few days, our leaders are poised to lift the current enhanced community quarantine in key areas and are keen to steadily reopen the economy. Consequently, we are entering the most crucial and challenging period of this crisis that a simple miscalculation can render our months of sacrifices worthless.
We have already lost so much that we can't afford to be impetous. We can't pull the plug yet. Not now. Because it's far from over. We're not yet off the hook. There is still need to live with a couple of health protocols in place.
But life should happen, right? And that's how it's supposed to be. Small businesses are starting to adapt as we keep on are hearing about this "new normal" every day. But are we really open to it?
One thing is for sure. We should give the same enthusiasm and consideration as we look towards the future of our education sector - It's not really impossible to shift from the traditional classroom classes to online learning. Our youth is ready. But things like school reopening, tuition adjustments and faculty virtual facilitation training remain as a challenge.
Moreover, solving the issue of capability and connectivity won't be as easy like a hot knife though butter. Because the majority of our learning institutions are far behind to comply.
Prior to the lockdown, we were hesitant and resistant. But do we really have a choice now? Should it happen sooner or later, it would require a huge change of behavior toward the new method. The demand for openess, responsiveness, discipline and focus is much higher now than before.
Good thing we're all going to adjust. Thus, there's no reason to take it personal. We'll get there. Stick around.
