THE City Government of Maasin recognized four individuals for their exemplary and honest actions in the city on March 4.
The awardees are Junbert Lamoste, who returned one printed pouch containing cash and identification cards (IDs); Raymar Cadano, who returned a Samsung cellphone; Cornello Imboy, who returned a brown pouch containing cash and IDs; and Giovanni Mercedes, who returned a pink pouch containing cash and ATM cards.
"There are still honest people around...These people are worthy to be recognized for their honesty," the City Government said in a statement.
It added that the giving of special awards is "a way of rewarding these individuals for their honesty."
The four received certificates of appreciation and cash incentives from the City.
