TWO Indian businessmen died in a head-on vehicular collision in an east coast village of Zamboanga City, a police official said Friday, March 29.
Police Captain Shellamie Chang, Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) information officer, said the incident occurred around 5:35 p.m. Thursday in Buenavista village, 54 kilometers east of this city.
Chang identified the fatalities as Amardeep Singh, 33, and his younger brother, Mamindar, 23, who are residents of Tumaga village.
She said Amardeep was driving a motorcycle with his younger brother as back rider on the way home when they encroached the opposite lane and collided with an incoming truck driven by Raymond Papas.
She said the Singh brothers suffered severe injuries and died instantaneously.
The police officer said the two were involved in lending business and have just visited their clients when they met the accident.
