THE Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (MBHTE-Barmm) will be granting a P10,000 emergency relief assistance allowance (ERAA) to each teachers and non-teaching staff in the Barmm.
In an advisory posted on May 11, MBHTE-Barmm said the releasing of ERAA is in compliance with the Memorandum Order No. 270 series of 2020 released by the Barmm's Office of the Chief Minister (OCM) dated April 27, 2020.
The Bureau of Public Information in Barmm (BPI-Barmm) said stipulated in the memorandum that each of the Barmm's ministry and offices are directed to provide ERAA "not exceeding P10,000 each as additional incentives to the employees during the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic.
The memorandum further stated that the ERAA shall be charged against the ministries' personnel services allotments, and the maintenance and other operating expenses (MOOE).
The MBHTE-Barmm said it will also release the mid-year bonus of qualified teachers and non-teaching personnel, and this month's salaries within the second half of May. (VoxPop Zamboanga)
