POLICE authorities have arrested a member of a drug syndicate in a law enforcement operation in the province of Zamboanga del Norte, the police reported on Sunday, April 29.
Chief Inspector Helen Galvez, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula identified the arrested suspect as Michael Buniel, 37, who was tagged as high-value target level 2.
Galvez said Buniel, a member of the Kevin Lim Drug Group, was arrested in a law enforcement operation by way of service of search warrant around 11:15 a.m. in the village of Turno, Dipolog City.
Galvez said the team that served the search warrant confiscated the following: P158,100 cash in different denomination; caliber .38 revolver with ammunition; a mobile phone; two heat-sealed plastic sachets of suspected shabu; medical kits; and, illegal drug paraphernalia.
She said the suspect was detained at the Provincial Intelligence Branch. (VoxPop Philippines)
