Police nab 2 most wanted persons in Zamboanga Peninsula

LAWMEN have arrested in separate law enforcement operations two of the most wanted persons in Zamboanga Peninsula, the police reported Thursday, July 23, 2020.

Police Brigadier General Jesus Cambay, Jr., Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula director, identified the arrested wanted persons as Florendo Mariano Lulawan, 35, and John Mark Villamor Suzon, 25.

Cambay said Lulawan was arrested in a law enforcement operation by way of service of a warrant of arrest around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the boundary of Sergio Osmeña, Zamboanga del Norte and Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Cambay said Lulawan, who is the top 2 most wanted person in Sergio Osmeña, has a standing warrant of arrest for the crime of murder with no recommended bail issued on June 16, 2017, by the court in Dipolog City.

Cambay said Suzon was arrested, also in a law enforcement operation, around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in Purok Fisherville in Lumbia village, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur.

He said Suzon is listed as the top 5 most wanted person in Pagadian City and has a standing warrant of arrest for the crime of murder with no recommended bail issued on May 12, 2016, by the court in that city.

He said the two arrested most wanted persons are temporarily placed under the custody of the police for proper disposition. (VoxPop Zamboanga)
