THE personnel of the Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula has been reminded to revisit the provisions of Republic Act (RA) 6713 otherwise known as code of Conduct and Ethical Standards of the Philippine National Police (PNP).
Senior Superintendent Narciso Verdadero, deputy regional director for operations, issued the reminder as he led on Monday, January 7, the celebration of the 25th PNP Ethics Day at Camp Abendan, this city.
Verdadero told the officers and personnel of the Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula, to review the core values and the police officer's creed stipulated in RA 6713.
He said that every police officer carries the public image and reputation of the whole PNP organization.
"The significance of the ethics day celebration endeavors the PNP to deliver a standard quality of police services to the community that we oath to serve and protect," he added.
The PNP Ethics Day is an annual celebration to constantly remind and reinforce the adherence of PNP personnel on the PNP Ethical Doctrine and maintain a high standard of professionalism, discipline and moral uprightness.
This year's PNP Ethics Day celebration is anchored on the theme "Tapat na Paglilinglod, Susi sa Pinaigting na Kampanya Laban sa Korapsyon." (Bong Garcia/VoxPop Philippines)
