A VILLAGE official tagged as the Top 4 most wanted person was arrested in a manhunt operation in the province of Zamboanga Sibugay, the police reported Saturday, December 22.
Chief Superintendent Emmanuel Luis Licup, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula director, identified the arrested official as Gaudioso Boleros, 64, a councilor in the village of Payag, Malangas, Zamboanga Sibugay.
Licup said Boleros was arrested around 7:30 a.m. Saturday at Purok 3 in the village of Payag, Malangas after he was sighted in the area.
Licup said Boleros, who is listed as the number four most wanted person, has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of rape with no recommended bail issued in February 2017 by the court of Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay. (VoxPop Philippines)
