POLICE Brigadier General Froilan Quidilla, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula director, announced that a policeman and a non-uniformed personnel (NUP) assigned at the Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Police Office (ZNPPO) were among the 2,103 examinees who passed the 2019 Bar examinations.
Quidilla named the bar passers as Police Staff Sergeant Henrik Ageas, 33, and NUP Melquiaes Potoy III.
Quidilla said that Ageas, who is on his 10th year of service, belongs to the Intelligence Branch of the Sibutad Municipal Police Station, while Potoy is assigned with Mutia Municipal Police Station as crime registrar and have been in the service for five years.
Quidilla praised the two bar passers for a "job well-done."
He said the commander "is truly proud of your success. May you serve as inspiration to our personnel who wish to become lawyer."
Ageas and Potoy finished their Bachelor of Laws at the Jose Rizal Memorial State University in Dipolog City, the premier university in province of Zamboanga del Norte.
Quidilla said the two may become commissioned officers through lateral entry by joining the Police's Legal Service, whose personnel are assigned to various units of the Philippine National Police. (VoxPop Zamboanga)
