ZAMBOANGA City has emerged as the overall champion in the Zamboanga Peninsula Regional Athletic Association (ZPRAA) Meet 2025 that concluded Thursday, February 27, 2025.
The ZPRAA 2025 was held from February 23 at the Julian Soriano Sports Complex, Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte.
The City Hall Information Office said Thursday, February 27, that the Zamboanga City Division garnered the most number of medals at 305, including 122 gold, 98 silver and 85 bronze medals.
Second place is Zamboanga del Sur with 293 medals -- 98 gold, 101 silver, and 94 bronze.
Third is Dipolog City with 248 medals, including 81 gold, 69 silver, and 98 bronze.
The fourth to eighth placers are Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga Sibugay, Pagadian City, Isabela City and Dapitan City.
The closing and awarding ceremony was held at 5 p.m. Thursday. (VoxPop Zamboanga)
